Paris Bennett pregnant no longer! The American Idol star gave birth to a baby girl, Monday afternoon in Minneapolis.

Paris, the 20 year old season five contestant was in labor for five hours - Paris Bennett gave birth at 3:36 PM (CST) to a 5 pound 15 ounce precious girl, who’s name is Egypt.

Notice the connection?:  American Idol season 5- in labor 5 hours - 5 pound 15 ounce baby girl…wow!

Paris says, “I’m so excited to finally see my little angel and man does she have lungs on her. I guess she’s gearing up to be the next American Idol.”

Paris Bennett’s representative told Usmagazine.com: “The proud first time mother is doing well and recovering. Paris’ mother Jamecia Bennett and her family are filled with excitement and welcomes their bundle of joy.”

Paris will be releasing her first Christmas CD, A Royal Christmas, on October 14.

Lakisha Jones former American Idol star tied the knot with boyfriend financial adviser, Larry Davis.

The couple were united in California on Sunday afternoon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Beverly Hills, California in front of family, friends and fellow season six contestants including, Melinda Doolittle, Gina Glocksen, Haley Scarnato and Sanjaya Malakar.

Jones was beautiful in a white strapless gown as her daughter Brionne, five, was both her flower girl and junior bridesmaid.

Sanjaya Malakar told to People.com: “I’m just so happy for her. I’m happy for her future, I’m happy for her daughter that they can be a family. It’s all that I could ever wish for her”

Barbados is the destination for the newlyweds honeymoon plans.
