Initially a specialist in alpine ski racing, Dana has been a sports writer for over 20 years. Based in the south shore of always-inspiring Lake Tahoe, she has branched out over the years to cover resorts and recreation, sports gear reviews, water skiing, cycling, area museums, real estate, concerts and sports personalities.

 Interviews have included Jonny Moseley, Tommy Moe, Glen Plake, Tamara McKinney and Hermann Maier. Concert reviews include Sheryl Crow, Buddy Guy, Stevie Nicks and Sir Elton John.
